Cécile & Boyd, the world renowned design and interiors company, enlisted Shelf to design a vision book for their Wildland project. This creative guidelines and direction manual was to be distributed to all collaborators throughout the development process. Creative Director Boyd Ferguson had a vision beyond the usual briefing document and Shelf brought this to life in the form of an artist’s journal where co-creators could share, doodle, inspire and immerse themselves in the concept. The book, hand-bound in extravagantly thick leather, speaks simultaneously in words and pictures. Smaller volumes (three books per set) are tied with rough leather cord from the same skin.
