Fynbos

Rare and indigenous

Welcome to Africa’s first biophillic property in the beating heart of Cape Town. Named for the endemic Fynbos, the smallest and richest floral kingdom in the world. The visual identity and messaging needed to do justice to this one-of-a-kind in Africa, a creative collaboration by experts in their field: botanists, architects, landscapers, sustainability experts. This is a brand that is all about leading innovation whilst living in harmony with nature.

Designing a lifestyle destination

The visual identity is inspired by plantlife and the theme of regenerating the urban landscape. Organic forms follow the fluid shapes found in plants offset by geometric shapes that echo the architecture and built environment. The ultimate statement for the Urban Trendsetter, the design needed to be extraordinary, make a statement, own the iconic.

The space to grow and flourish

We leveraged the unique brand story to connect on an emotional level and differentiate the messaging. Bringing across the balance of innovation and regeneration, nature and architecture, in a tone that is mindful, captivating and approachable.

Fine aesthetic

Every touchpoint – from the digital brochure to online – is refined, sophisticated, visually rewarding, high design. Combining creative edginess (always on-brand) with a strong call to action and sense of timelessness.

Future now

We wanted to capture the incredible broad-reaching principles behind biophilic design, whilst still fitting in with youthful, edgy urban living. The website acts as a sample of the beauty of the building design, the lush greenery of growing facades, the “inner street” with its array of high-end boutiques. This is a vision of the future – and you’re invited.
