OKHA

Disharmony and balance

OKHA is a furniture design studio dedicated to creating collections of lifelong pieces. Working closely with creative director Adam Court, Ninepoint helped refine their brand identity into a timeless and evocative space to hold each powerfully unique collection.

Each OKHA piece holds a dramatic tension. Ninepoint sought to bring this dynamic relationship to life within the brand, pairing rough with smooth, bold with thin, urban grit with natural form. The logo was pared back to essential form – circle, triangle and square – a visual origin, but also a nod to the Bauhaus ethos that championed perception and imagination above trend or tradition.

The modular grid, also stripped back to the fundamental, was designed to create a gallery space for imagery, relying on space and tension to elevate design.

The brand was applied to a myriad of materials from sales catalogues to stationery, packing tape to powerpoint presentations. Utmost care was given to print finish. Humble materials such as newsprint were embraced for their tactile qualities.
